This book was epitome of slow build-up , college, sports romance. Ahh I loved it!!
Megan has not had an easy childhood and has joined college early to find herself. She even has a list and all. I loved Megan’s character- she’s strong, smart, sometimes naive, sweet and funny. She is an insomniac and meets Dane at a party on her first night. They immediately connect and spend a lot of time together courtesy both being insomniacs. Dane lets her go with an epic kiss.
However, soon Dane finds out that Megan is off-limits since she is the sister of his teammates. Dane is also struggling with his course loads, has issues back home being the eldest brother of four sisters. He feels he should not be diverting his time with Megan.
They keep meeting and it keeps testing his resolve. Megan has never been a priority in anyone’s life before and ahe struggles to find her independence without Dane. It was intriguing to see her growth through this story. Dane finally sets down the boundaries- just friends. And whenthe boundaries are crossed, there’s a bit of a drama. All the supporting characters in this story were well written and now I want to read their stories as well. I highly recommend this book to all the sports romance lovers.
