This was my first book by this author and the story hooked me from the prologue. This book has 3 POVs so I was confused in the beginning. Also it spans over a period of almost 3 years with the main characters not interacting till the second half.
Gavin is a hockey player who is jilted at the alter. His dad is his team’s coach and does not appreciate him very much. Due to all this, he is shown as arrogant and brash. Brayden is his team mate who lost his mother in a car accident and dad is in the prison. His sister Myla was a olympic level figure skater who was severely injured in the same car accident. Myla is a strong willed woman who has faces lots of hardships in life but has come out a winner. She has only her brother as family and they are the best friends most of the times.
When Gavin meets Myla for the first time, it’s nothing special. However their next encounter changes his views and he wants to get to know Myla better. Their relationship is very sweet and progresses streamingly. Inspite of reservations from both their families, the continue to grow as a couple. Its a beautiful story with an even more beautiful epilogue. Highly recommended!!
